That "eagle facing right" coin, down at the bottom, is the Sellers Logo?

That's a beautiful coin. I've seen the type before, but I'm not finding it.

The amphora/urn with letters on both sides reminds me of Boeotia (Thebes) coinage but I'm not finding any with that type of obverse (female head? Apollo?).

I know that this coin was submitted to Dane at WIldwinds last year and she had doubts about authenticity.

Very interesting and thanks for that info, Martin. I've been wracking my brain and searching thousands of pictures trying to find this. Do you know what it is supposed to be?

That's why I asked about the use of the seller's photo. I couldn't find an example for this, and wondered why being from the seller's listing there was no description. It looks like a Fantasy piece.

2.22g. 13.4mm. Maybe that helps.

zxccxz, what other information was provided by the seller? Or are you the seller whose logo appears in the picture and the one who submitted it to wildwinds?

The seller says its silver, 2.22g, 13.4mm. They say it is Greek, has original surfaces, is in EF condition and was in a museum at some point. From my knowledgeable this coin should be worth at least a couple hundred, maybe even a $1000. Its is comparatively cheap so maybe its a contemporary counterfeit that was once housed at a museum?

I don't think anyone is looking anymore. Martin and Masis pretty much summed it up. Sorry...
