VF-30, according to coinsandcanada, a 1947 pointed seven in VF-30 would be $175.

Now I would like to see a "crisp clear pic of the 7",..to see if that is a tiny dot after it.

Thanks everyone, there seems to be agreement on VF30.
So it IS worth more than just silver content, nice to know :)

to DEVLEC, there is definately NO dot after the 7,
I checked for that, was hoping, but no luck this time !

So the price guides say about $175, but what could I really expect
to get for it ?
Seems like the guides are often higher than the real "going rate",
at least from what I've been observing so far. I get it, who wants to pay "full price"
if you can get a deal !

Even though its only around a 30 it is still a nice coin, attractive toning and I have no 47's so I'd be happy to own it.
