I ready to buy 1oz SML from Fractional set.
But not all the set - although nice design, became expensive (IMO), additional set with ugly big box.

IIRC, the 25th Anniversary fractional set took a while to take off last year.
It was released at the same time as the 5 penny set so all the attention was on that.
I think even Gatewest had it on sale at one point for $179.
It was only until the U.S. Shopping Channel sold a bunch of them for like $800 that it started to take off.
It's selling for right around $300 now.

The piedmont is a commissioned item just like the bald eagles.
They will be on the shopping channels.
The reps are restricting it to one per customer.

Thanks mltung, I know I watched the Coin Vault one night for Eagle #1 coin & even had a RCM official on air & recently I got email saying he was coming to the coin vault again. I caved on Eagle #3 but did not buy 1st 2 and will not get the 4th. |

I observe strange things with the Piedfort coin:
people with Elite MC status entering the waiting list to get single coin...
But for sure, it will be available tomorrow for some period, and (only maybe) on public release or at one of the dealers for issue price.
So it kind of queues:
you can be last in the "priority queue" and not to get the coin, or you'll be the first in general queue, and will get the coin.

When I ordered the Piedfort from the post office it is Direct Ship only.

I got a second piedfort via my rep who got it from another rep's allotment.
It will be the first coin to sell out, followed by the bald eagle.
All these will be on shopping channels for Xmas and Hannukah shopping.
Remember that Hannukak and Thanksgiving in the US fall on the same day and it will be a big shopping weekend.

@Whitetail Junkie...I am not 100 percent sure but it would seem to me that the post office would not have it in stock if it is direct ship.Someone who has had direct shipping before would be better to answer this.When I asked her to order it for me she said it could only be by direct ship.Sorry I could not be more specific.

Direct shipped My postman told me if there is a coin I want...they will order it for me and have it shipped directly to my home...any RCM coin....that way they don't have to carry all in inventory... |

I'm pretty sure it's some time today.
The last few months the new releases show up late in the afternoon on the website.
