I've been bumming around on a newly found website called iOffer, and it seems like there are a couple good deals (and loads and loads of fakes).

Here are three US mint/proof (?) sets with a bunch of grainy, too-small-to-be-identified-as-pictured world coins for $10.50 with free shipping... which actually seems like a good deal...

The rest of the website is full of counterfeits, including every CC-mark Morgan dollar for $40...

Has anyone else used this website before? Is it as shady as it looks?

It looks awfully shady. I do not see any "COPY" or "REPLICA" on their coins, making them counterfeit and illegal to sell. For the Morgans, they also claim that the coins are silver, one claims "Weight: 26.73 grams Diameter: 38.1 millimeters" and sells for $7. Not only is it a counterfeit because the coin itself lacks the required text, but other claims are made that cannot possibly be true. It can't be the right diameter & weight or have any silver in it and sell for $7. Be completely suspect of anything from this site that claims to be genuine. To admit that a coin is a reproduction in the literature is not enough, the coin has to carry that info itself.

I think you found the 1 lot that isn't way overpriced. However, it's the only numismatic item he's selling, &
no feedback. The ist pic is US stuff, the 2nd, Germ & French, I believe.
At least it's free shipping.

Cant leave this alone, please, pass these folks up. I'll just send you some coins.
I was looking @ the 5c. SEGS & ICG stuff, with a MS70 grade, with a list price of nearly 4K.
Where's this list?
