I have a coin set from 1976 one is a silver proof(mirrored finish)and numbered 215 and the other is bronze looks the same but no numbers....does anyone have any information on the numbered minted? or still existing?.... I purchased the coins 5-6 years ago and have never seen another like it.. just looking for some background info on it...thanks..

I tried several times to upload images of the coins I have but was unsuccessful... so I found a look alike of the bronze one.... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Commemorati...em258295abab

It is a privately minted medallion, not a coin. Things like this tend to be fairly obscure unless you can identify a maker or commissioner. In this case, the commissioner was the Coin Club of Allentown, PA so you might want to try contacting them(it appears that it is now known as the Allentown-Bethlehem Coin Club).

um no email for that club so I wrote out a letter and made some drawings using a pencil and made a imprint of the obv and rev of the bronze coin which is the same as the silver one.... so this might take a little longer than originally thought but it'll be cool to see what they say and I left my email so they could contact me faster.... so we'll see what happens.... PEACE...
