How "secret" is the Secret Santa? Do you guys normally reveal who sent the gift or is it supposed to remain a mystery even after you send it? Just curious.

I actually had the name of the recipient in the above post and then deleted it just before submitting.
Figured he/she should at least sweat it out till they get their mail.
I believe the cat is out of the bag for nearly all secret santa's eventually.

Using your name is up to you
some post offices will not let you post a package with out a full return address including name.
Mine allows me to just put an address except for one clerk who says I must use my initials as a minimum in a return address -

I sent mine off on the 9th, so hopefully it should be reaching its recipient in a week or so. And I do believe I may be the first one to receive their gift (or at least mention it). Coming from Austria, presumably sent on the 5th or later, that makes it a record 1 week!  I got this beaut in the mail today:  Now I've been spending the morning trying to figure out the details of this coin, but I have to admit I've colossally failed. Obviously from Austria, commemorating Johann Strauss, the reverse(?) says what means "1000 years of Austria", and looks like it is 0.925 silver (unless that number means something else), and is huge and pretty- Just look at his moustache! And his expression . Through my cursory investigation, it seems that we have 2 Austrian secret santas this year, either coinworldtv or austrokiwi, so whoever it is, thank you! I've got a return address, if I figure out it is real, I'm going to have to send my thanks personally! Edited by Babar
