Help With 1652 Pine Tree Fake? - Coin Community Forum

Weight 88.2 grains 28 mm dia <1 mm thick I'm fairly certain it's fake but maybe someone out there knows more about these than me! Thanks! Report this Post to the Staff

I seem to recall that many of these were sold by some New England area coin company back in the 1960's. The details elude my memory though. Despite being a copy, it makes for a neat conversation piece to share with other collectors. Genuine ones rarely appear in public, so it pays to know about the copies! Report this Post to the Staff
