1865 (Snow-3) Indian Head Cent - ANACS To PCGS Crossover

oih82w8 Pillar of the Community United States 7840 Posts	Posted 10/17/2013 09:29 am I was really lucky to grab this TYPE III IHC from Rick Snow a couple months ago. It was nestled in an older Blue ANACS holder listed as Breen 1967 MS64RB (also identified as RPD FS-303 S-3 (FS-007.5)). https://goccf.com/t/153964 My worries were put rest about the planchet flaw at "UNI" in "UNITED" when it was graded at the same MS64RB by PCGS. There were no images on the PCGS CoinFacts for this variety in RB, but there is now! http://www.pcgscoinfacts.com/Coin/Detail/37439/64 It's always nice to have a PCGS Plate coin in ones possession, but this one has the spotlight all to itself.
