So I like this coin and want to bid on it... but the problem is the "green stuff"

Would acetone help here?

Is there anything else out there that won't damage the coin help?

Opinions and advice would be appreciated

Pitted eh? is that the verdigris that creates the pitting?

Also what makes this EF in your opinion... one reason I was interested in this coin is that it looked uncirculated

The corrosion on the coin is the green ick It is eating copper in plain language.
I would not attempt to grade the coin from the image, I was only meaning that they are not hard to find in better grades. MM

Thank you ... wise words... and well played using my own words .. LOL

My issue was the verdigris and if it was a problem.... I really didn't know that it was corrosion and would cause pitting.... see I learned something new.

Once again thank you all for your input!
