Hi rmc,
If you go back prior to this past year seller has thousands of positive feedbacks with nothing but good reports from his buyers.
Perhaps the old guy has had a stroke or is succumbing to alzheimers or some other health issue which has obviously affected his ability to function properly.
As for ebay world - welcome to the fact that they almost never sanction a seller who is moving "volume" merchandise - it's all about the bottom-line for them - more auction listing sales, the more profit for ebay :(
That being said, the feedback system is doing its job - not likely that many buyers will continue doing business with this guy when they look at a couple of pages of complete red dots and read buyer complaints!

Good point, I thought of that however he is still well enough to keep listing items.

I agree, the feedback system is a good thing, but there comes to a point where ebay should be stepping in and doing something...lots don't look at the feedback

He is 33 years old... read his ebay profile! http://members.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI...regard_coinsI have bought items from him in the past two years, mostly minor small cent errors, the most recent being ebay # 360602389932. I never had any problems.

If ebay doesn't police these problem sellers quickly, whats stopping other dishonest sellers from doing the same thing. Sure there is buyer protection and what not but does everyone try to get their money back...Im sure there are a few that just write it off as a lesson learnt....its a ticket to make money. Health issues!!?...not an excuse. Yes that probably does happen as well but its not the buyers problem...that's life. Until they are healthy enough and in the right frame of mind than start selling again. Just my opinion. Maybe, but this is where ebay should be stepping in...its not like its only been happening for a week

When did ebay extend the coded user IDs to the Feedback? Didn't it used to be that you could see the actual ID via the Feedback?

I, too, wonder if something has happened in his private life that we don't know about. I've bought from him in the past and he was great to deal with, and shipped quickly. To have so much negative feedback just in the past few months seems very odd to me... Not knowing all the facts I won't condemn him, but I won't buy either until he gets back on track again.

The fact is whether something happened to him or not, people are not getting there product. I'm not condemning him because your right but his account should still be suspended. Its not fair for all the buyers that are spending their hard earned money and time searching for items Just my opinion. It would save him ALOT of negative feedback as well if something did happen that was unfortunate. If that is the case, ebay would be doing him a favour by suspending his account until he was able to return selling.

It seems strange this seller's Feedback took such a severe hit in the past 6 month's. It's obvious something is amis here with the seller? it should be not very CLEAR to all E-bayer's to avoid this seller at all costs. Glenn

I bought from him last year at this time, it took over two months for him to mail my item. In the 2 emails I got, he said he was away working on oil rigs, hence all the delays. At this time I was new and didn't know about the 45 day limit. I was just glad to finially get my item.

I tried to purchase two items from him as buy it now, I emailed him for the combined shipping quote and he never responded. So I never paid. This was in the spring. Still have yet to hear from him. I have since sourced the coins from another seller so even if he does reply I guess I won't be buying them.

Even some of his positive feedbacks have negative comments.

what surprised me is, even buyer said negative word, still gave him positive feedback: "This man should not be selling coins on ebay" "Horrible seller! No item, do not trust!"

I don't know this seller personnally, but he's a member of numicanada since 2007, that's how I "know" him. Since I was watching a few of his items, I noticed his feedback % started dropping a few months ago. On numicanada, he last logged in on may 16th. So I too wonder what happened to him...
