I just learned that a new coin shop is opening in west Toronto.
Metro Coin & Banknote

Grand opening is Monday, November 4th.
I am going to try and get down to see it sometime later in November, I know the person opening the store, and he is a good collector-turned-dealer. I was told that not all the inventory will be laid out for the opening, everything has been a rush to this point... but the owner is keen to meet the local collectors.

I went buy a couple of days ago and she was all locked up.
It was around the noon hour so I'm guessing the owner went for lunch or coffee.

I finally got a chance to visit this store yesterday. Easy to find, very nicely set up. Good selection of older banknotes, RCM stuff. It was a pleasure seeing & talking with Jared. Good luck! |
