I was at the local shop when a stack of slabbed WLHs came in. The owner let me look, and they were all fantastic. Most were out of my price range -- some better dates, some high grades (65s, 67s) and a few CAC stickers. He kept after me, saying surely there was something in there for me. So, I came home with this one... blast white:

Very nice. One can never get tired of this beautiful series. I'm in at 64. Wish I could have been there. Still looking for a few MS67's for my set.

Sorry for the suspense... I forgot I posted this last night!

The grade...
1936-WLH-Pickup

I know the grade is nothing to write home about, but the comments here reflect what I thought -- this coin just "pops"! I'm glad to have the coin, even if the slab is mediocre. Plus, this means I got it at 63 money -- paid $50 for it. Woo-hoo!
