Just bought this from the bay for a couple of bucks.

I noticed the rim on this coin is slightly off. I assume this is a miss strike? How does this effect the value of the coin.

I also noted the date is 'filled in' somewhat and a die crack through the roo is present.

Miss-Strike?

Miss-Strike?

Thankyou for your input, It's always appreciated.

I believe it is not actually a die crack but a hair line and the number is filled a bit due to Grease Fill

Its not a misstrike. Not nearly off centre enough. Value would be 10-20c

OK. Thanks guys.

Since checking some of my other coins, its more regular than I thought. I have a 1946 penny with the same double rim.

Ive only been collecting coins for a short time so I do appreciate any assistance and advice given.

Thanks again.
