I think this is one. I had my penny up here a few months ago and this reminds me of it,

Back of coin is perfectly normal.

Yes, except I think it was minted in Denver.

I am going to be listing this one for sale soon? Would I be better off on the auction here or should I just use ebay? any thoughts?

Sorry, folks...I hate to bump an old thread, but I was Googling "struck through capped die" and found the OP's coin in the images.

This morning I found what looked like an error coin, and someone thought it might be one of these errors. Crazy thing is, the one I found is a 2000-D as well. Is it possible that it's from the same run?

Possible. Your example may have been struck later on. (die cap is breaking down/flattening out more)
