The coins very nice. Started to appear in the change. Strange, I do not see people selling the empty cards only on ebay (only with coins). So I assume, the Mint will send 1-2 cards.

I ordered them through my rep, Requesting 5 cards and the coins - I already received the cards, and he told me the coins will be shipped later this week. Makes you wonder - a $15 order and they are sending two shipments - probably costing $6 or $7 each for shipping. So, where does the mint make money?

Dcadon, because you are a very special customer. I doubt they will do that to a non Master Club member.

Did any of you attend the coin exchange held in Toronto today?

I got my order from Colonial Acres (10 sets). They arrived well packaged and in excellent condition (thanks). They are really nice coins.

I was in the coin exchange this morning. At first they allowed people to get 5 sets max/each person. And then they limited to 2 max. I was only able to get 2 sets.

Yeah, there's never any point in bringing lots of stock to an event in downtown Toronto, never anybody around there...

I didn't realize they limited the sets down to 2. Thinking there would be a great rush for this, I ended up going there quite early and managed to get 5 sets.

I went around 12:30 and was only able to get two sets. But there were only 4-5 people in the lineup, which was a bit surprising (the line for the 1812 coin exchange was ridiculous).

The event started at 11am. I was there around a quarter pass 11am. The first 2,3 people in the line still can get 5 sets. Then they suddenly limited to 2 sets. Everyone in the line was angry.
So basiclly those people get there before 11:15am can get 5 sets max
That is ridiculous and unfair. They should set a limit to 2 sets per person at the beginning at the event.

BiBo, I am curious:
"2 sets" means 2 sets of packs (like limitation on the web), or 2 sets of coins (means 8 coins)?
Cause, if it 8 coins only - I do not see special reason to arrive to such event. Really unfair.

1 set = 1 presentation card with 4 quarters.
So basiclly. You give them $1 dollar. They give back to you 4 quarters and a presentation card or folder (whatever it call). Then you put those quarters in the card by yourself. Not the sealed pack like on the Mint website
Such a waste of time to come there and only get 2 sets. The reason I went there is expecting to get a full roll of these quarter.
They used to allow people to exchange full rolls at the last few events e held at First Canadian Place.

I received my 2 packs of coins yesterday but not the cards. I'm not a MCM but it really makes no sense financially to send them in 2 different envelopes.

What will be the future for mint rolls? Seem to be hard to find.
