Many people act as scouts for dealers, buying anything that will turn a profit and turning it back into prized coins from their dealer. You see it frequently as the show slows down, there will be a dealer and "customer" heads down with STACKS of coins between them. They'll both do some figuring and then the moment of truth "OK, you owe me $X".
