Did you have a table or were you just walking the floor?

Since the table fee was $200 (http://www.rarecoinsofraleigh.com/i...vember.pdf), I'm guessing vest pocket dealer (sounds SO much nicer than floor walker).

One of the nicer things about the coin shows by me. Tables are $50 a day. This means dealers can sell for more decent prices.

The term I have always heard at shows is "brown bagging it"

I was just walking around. I also bought some things that I sold to my LCS on the way home.

Happens a lot at shows, from the local 30 table variety all they way up to ANA. Many people act as scouts for dealers, buying anything that will turn a profit and turning it back into prized coins from their dealer. You see it frequently as the show slows down, there will be a dealer and "customer" heads down with STACKS of coins between them. They'll both do some figuring and then the moment of truth "OK, you owe me $X". Happens especially with CherryPickers - finding VAMs cheap.
