Well, I got burned with Autumn Bliss by CP too. But if they are willing to make good, then what the heck? Picked up the 2014 Year of the Horse. We'll see what happens...

Will CP deliver everyone's coin? I kind of doubt it since there is no apparent quota or sold-out online programming. They'll probably base it on first-come first-serve...?

AND this sale is until Dec. 3rd.... and CP is closed all weekend. Methinks there will be quite a few disappointed customers when they find out that their coin was already sold out and/or that they won't deliver their coin on time for X-mas?!?

Its sign of the times, and future just too many RCM releases and obscure themes, wait till next year rumoured double amount of coins.

What makes all so exciting, is you never know what will happen & all should know things can happen quick. I am slowly learning to be more patient with some purchases & others take off before you can react. I have been on both sides of this & bum if prices decrease & yet I am happy if I see prices increase. Of course the 1 coin purchases for myself, I am usually happy with & what the market does, won't stop that coin from being in my permanent collection.

@yingyang, I am so glad you are passing on this great hobby to your children & grandchildren! I hope they will enjoy, as we all do on this forum.

I think the mints goal in a load, of coins is too get more collectors and thereby more money..........They want the guy who will buy only 3 coins and no more.....If he is a tiger crazy person ---got tiger posters on wall tiger sheets and blanket, tiger vase, tiger cerial bowl,,Yu get the picture.....then he will buy a few tiger coins..Collecters 7 years ago or so were mad when mint produced so many different types..They enjoyed a day when they could buy all in the year--now they can not afford all and now thats it 2013 they cannot even come close to own all of even one type....

If the coin is not available it will not register into your cart when you go to check out. I think anyone who can go through with the payment will get their coins.

See the post above re: Autumn Bliss. Until you have the coin in your hand, all bets are off.

I wish they had the 2013 Maple 1kg. I'd be all over that at 15% off.

CP's site is not very user friendly.
Why does it enable you to add items to the cart and then upon check-out, tells you that the item is not available?
I've tried it for 5 coins already.

I agree Prevalent! A total waste of customer's time. Maybe they are working on a software update? All would agree that they should.

I used the CP discount to order one of the 2013 Specimen Sets with the Canadian Arctic Expedition silver dollar. I had been planning on buying the set to keep my silver dollar set complete anyway and was going to pick it up from the RCM at some point before the end of the year.

CP's $15 discount and free shipping was enough for me to pull the trigger a bit early!

I do agree with others, however, regarding what CP's discount means. Namely, that sales of current RCM NCLT products are generally down/lower than expected for them and that the overall market could be suffering from too many coins being released/available.

At least it tells you ahead that it is not available when you are checking out. Previously, it would let you check it out. It is only later when you wait for weeks and called them to find out that the coin was over sold

What I do is to add all the items I could be interested so I've like 20 items in my shopping cart. And then when I click on "edit" I see which ones are not available so it's just one time wasting time.
