My job takes me out of town every week for work, while I was taking a fast brake. I spotted this stuck in the asphalt. Nothing rare, but still something to add to my coin collection. It is so hard to tell the date 1902.? Just wanted to share.Thanks everyone.

Thanks everyone, I thought it was pretty cool to find an 111 year old coin..LOL it was found in North Bay at the hockey arena.

Wow, good eye. I wonder how long it has been there? Looks to be a recent scratch though.

The scratch is from being face down in the asphalt for who knows how long..LOL

sorry Mod I think the arena was built in and around 1919 just thinking that was perhaps when the penny was lost or placed in the asphalt regards
