Thank you, Gene! Grading these things must be next to impossible, right?

Here goes "Imitation Tiffins, Round Two":

Although I'm having trouble confirming it using the chart you sent, blargish, I'm fairly confident -- based on a half-hour spent with the Charlton tokens catalog -- that we're looking at CH LC-48-11 here. What do you guys think?

Post-Your-Canadian-Tokens

For those of you following along from home, the Charlton book helpfully identifies CH LC-48-11 with this description:

Obverse: Same as LC-48-6.
Reverse: Same as LC-48-9.

...which sends the collector into a collage of two dozen descriptions, each with a pair of low-contrast 25mm photos, jammed into five pages of a 6.5" x 9" book.

Yep, that's variety 11, and the best shape that obverse die is ever in.

The reverse on your specimen also has the beginnings of the die break on the upper right of the bale that becomes pretty diagnostic for later strikes of LC-48-11 as well as the super rare LC-48-9 and 10.

Overcoming stiff competition from hundreds of numismatists from all over the world, okiecoiner is the first to correctly identify the spelling problem. Big round of applause for okiecoiner, everybody!

Picked up this one at a coin show a week ago. It was in a dealer's "odds and ends" box and labelled simply "Tiffen". Dealer didn't know anything about it and seemed disinterested, so it came home with me. Yes, it's dented and not the prettiest, but I figured it was worth the $3 since I have no other Tiffens. I wouldn't even know what a "Tiffen" is were it not for this forum!
