Took a look last Friday and my Costco had already switched over.

I was able to buy a roll of stamps from Costco this past Sunday for $60+tax. I guess they haven't gotten around to change the price at the one I went to.

I asked about the stamps while at Costco this morning and they had run out of the permanent rolls earlier and were selling rolls of 63 cent stamps now.

"P" rolls still available at my local Costco as of this morning. My Post Office said they were told to stop selling them on the day of the announcement and that they all had to be returned. However, "collector" panes or ones that had a P stamp, US stamp, and International stamp together in a set of 3 may still be available for purchase.

good bye canada post. now that the official post office standpoint is seniors want to be healthy, (maybe they do but not by slipping on the ice and snow getting to the mail); so along with the price increase, I think it will be the final push for them to get into technology and have all of their bills/payments done online.

To add to the 'monopoly' debate Canada Post has over domestic letter delivery... When going to school for my Logistics designation I learned that it is legislated that private carriers have a prices 3.5x that of the crown corporation. In fact CP does NOT have a monopoly on lettermail delivery (otherwise it would be illegal for a courier to offer lettermail deliveries). They DO have a legal pricing advantage, until the union, pensions, and geographic commitment erode it
Whether the latest increase will force other carriers to increase their rates accordingly- possibly but I'm not sure
