Anyone know what the value on this might be. I'm trying to value my collection and I don't know much about errors.

Obverse is blank, reverse is fully printed.

It looks like a blank planchet but it might have had some help with a belt sander. Can you get any larger pics?

Any chance you could weigh it? The coin itself should weigh around 3.11 grams.

If the rim is gone then it has been sanded down.

Done with a belt sander or something similar, it is an impossible error to have one side blank with no rim.

I concur. It was sanded down and isn't an error at all. It's worth one cent.

Oh, and just in case you are interested, it was made between 1974 and 1979. The reverse was the same all of those years, so I cannot round it down any more than that.

Thanks. Upon closer examination there are
some striations that might be from putting it on a sander.

Do all blank planchet coins, weather it be obverse or reverse have a full rim as a indicator to let you know for sure that is what it is ?

If the planchet went thru the upsetting machine, then there will be a rim on both sides. If there is a rim on one side it was there on both at some point in time. I believe this is right. CC will confirm or correct.
