Three Repunched Dates From Norway - Coin Community Forum

DVCollector Bedrock of the Community United States 10045 Posts	Posted 12/15/2013 7:23 pm I found these three repunched dates on 5 øre coins from Norway. In all 3 cases, only one digit is visibly doubled, which suggests to me that each digit is punched independently (the first two are present on the hub). This is the opposite of the situation with Sweden, where overdates taper off at 1916. I have not seen hubs and dies from Sweden's mint and I'm unsure when they began dated hubs.
