I don't know about his "older" stuff but I needed to update my collection after a few years lapse and he has been a good source for the "W"s,"WP"s, quarters that were not in circulation, and so on. Grading on those not too far off and many for sale each week so easy to wait for a decent price.

I did buy a couple of silver dollars. I just bid assuming the grade was really a couple of notches lower than advertised and I was happy with the quality for what I paid.

Not sure I would chance bidding on $100 items unless they were ICCS graded.

I stopped buying from them a while back, unless I grade the coin myself before and get it for dirt cheap. They are located not far from me, but there is no store you can visit. He only sells through mail (from what I know). But I do wonder as well how he gets all this stock, how he puts these ads up everyday and manages it all. Must be quite a few people working there

I haven't looked at his listings lately, but I did today and immediately noticed his offerings are way down. He used to always have 1500 items, now it's less than 600. Maybe it's just because he has gone more specialized with his product, offering paper and foreign coins on other sites. But I have dealt with him in the past and will probably do so again - whenever I have had a problem it was resolved promptly and without argument. And there's always that free shipping...

Out of curiosity I bought several raw coins from Asyn, ranging from low-value to higher-value. The condition of ALL coins received did not come close to their exaggerated grades as advertised. This was conducted a while ago when they were still posting a numbered grade in their description. None of the MS-63 coins were MS at all, some of the MS-64 coins were actually AU at best and cleaned, and only a couple of the highest graded coins were MS but just average. Money was refunded without hesitation only after I opened a case. I can't comment on their non-raw coins, but you've been warned!
