i know next to zero about paper money, even less about civil war stuff.

a buddy of mine dug this up, I would like to pass on some insight as to grade and value (and maybe a little history)

I think I can faintly see the word "facsimile" in the lower left corner on the reverse. If so, this was a reproduction from the 1960's that was sold In small packs at 5&10 cent stores across the country. They were also sold at gift shops thruout the South during the Civil War Centennial celebrations, too.

I can't see the serial number correctly it's a little out of focus, but if it is 40679 it is listed as a facsimile.
