This seller on ebay is selling nothing, but damaged coins in that listing. All of them are showing PMD. None of them are errors. The sad thing is there's a bidding war going on. Whoever wins that auction is going to learn a hard lesson. https://www.ebay.com/itm/3769195747...o&b=1&lsid=0

wow, that is just terrible - I have found lots of zinc cents in my front yard that have been there for years and are enlarged and cupped! Maybe I'll have to put them up on the Bay too

Really?! Garbage! It's a normal, common cent that was graded. There's no errors on it and it's not even close to being "rare". Sounds like the ebay seller is trying to scam someone. Look at the bidding price. There's also a best offer option as well. What an idiot.

that sell, only has 25 feedback remarks, maybe they don't know about the " L on the rim" being normal

Did you send them a message telling them that?

Ah yes, the market place being the marketplace.... A tale as old as time (to borrow an overworked phrase).

Not gonna bother. They've other overpriced coins for sale too. I don't think it's worth my time and effort.

I changed my mind. I'll message the seller. I messaged the seller. I'm waiting for a response.

I have contacted other sellers of ordinary coins at exorbitant prices, claiming "errors".
Most don't respond. One of them told me to just keep scrolling.
