I have seen a couple of pictures that were so blurry I couldn't even recognize what coin it was. And the pictures above, yep...seem many like those. Now can we start a thread of not doing research on what an opening bid should be? LOL, I am missing one regular Franklin and 5 or 6 proofs to complete my set. In looking through the Franklin's for sale a couple of weeks ago a seller had an opening bid of $1,600 on a circulated set that was missing a couple. No proofs, just 30 something regular circulated Franklin's for $1600 Report this Post to the Staff

It has the appearance of being dissolved in something--to remove corrosion perhaps? Hard to even assign a grade.
