The seller of this 1894-O Morgan states that it has "virtually unnoticable initials" on the obverse.

Would you post a link please. I'd like to see the reverse.

Use the close up to look at the cheek...then notice the two "stars" to the left of the face.

Here are two coins I recently came across on the 'bay. Viewer discretion is advised.

All I can say on this one is, I'm speechless.

And how about this beautiful example of the king of all key dates, with just a tad of corrosion?!

Ouch--that 09-S VDB is tragic! But that '47 large cent turned washer needs archiving--it's not really a coin anymore.

Some coins just need a proper burial, like these: 171555985150

Fun-Thread---Worst-Coins-On-Ebay,-Etsy,-Craigslist,-And-Other-Buying-Sites!

...or they should have been left buried?

A prime candidate for "alchemizing", perhaps ?

In case you don't know what that is, have a look at

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Carausius-P...111529692470 and read the description.

Almost all his items have been "alchemized", though strangely, not the billone ring or the sunglasses.

I've no idea how that's done, perhaps dropped in solvent, polished lovingly with a proprietary polish, and left to dry with healing crystals.

That Carausius listing is quite something, especially since Pax (Peace) is a female!

The coin looks like a typical well-worn Carausius antoninianus.

The seller's special approach to coins is not typical. I wonder if he submitted it to NGC if would come back with "Alchemized, Blessed" on the slab?

Maybe not the worst ....... but still not pretty. With all of the nice coins out there why would someone spend their money on this one?

That's actually a really bad example. It was corroded, then harshly cleaned to bare metal. Not sure the value on that one.

Another ridiculous listing from the paper money world. A crumbled up dollar bill that just went through the wash for your consideration.

If you know the true value and history behind this serial number on this one dollar bill , it'll be well worth it.
Speak up man--why is that nondescript bill worth $1000? Does that ser # carry a secret message?
