The US dollar bill, now the condition & asking price are a hoot! You can always tell a new seller by the prices they ask. Like someone is going to pay $1,000 for a badly crumpled bill. I like how seller states if your a serious dollar bill collector; you'll recognize the value of the serial number. This guy doesn't know the value of Condition!!

DV Collector, don't you know the seller's, is a Top Rated Numismatist who only buys from places like Heritage Auction and owns several pieces from the Newmann Collection..

I wonder how many messages he'll get from knowledgable people basically saying - he's off his rocker. I love the $15 shipping fee too.
Some have the gift of hype. Someone should ask him, if it's so valuable, why hasn't he sent it for grading?

This thread is great for a few laughs a great way to relax. Some for the things on ebay just make you!!

I started this thread for the laughs too. "Make Offer"--I feel like submitting $1, but I don't want to pay that postage.

DVcollector,, I was thinking the same. Man it must be insane postal rates to send a dollar these days! I get it $14 for the private insurance you'd want to buy.

It's a great thread when I'm stressed and need a good laugh. The description is priceless.

Raymo, that almost looks like an older army helmet--do you suppose it could be trench art?
The "engraving" looks very old--simultaneously bad and interesting.

I'm archiving this because it's so sad and absurd! Makes you wonder how many coins they "dated"?
