But according to him it's worth $1000 - $1500... What a deal!

I can definitely see it when I zoom in.

Nice score on the Three Cent, Adam_E!

Haha, the seller called it "double died"! I guess Lincoln kicked the bucket twice. That's just hilarious! I love this thread!

How could anyone pass up an 1858 Canadian Large Cent for $85.99 with the description "First year of issue! Coin has minor scratches and marks on the front."?

Well, that is if "minor scratches and marks" is generally a synonym for "used in lieu of a clay pigeon for a century and a half of skeet shooting."

This one puts the UGH! in U-G-L-Y.

This Peace dollar looks like something Andy Warhol might dream up.

I've actually bought from this seller before and had very good service. Even had a problem with them sending me the wrong coin once and they exchanged it really fast for the right one and paid the shipping both ways. Don't know what got into them with this one.

Max, I don't think that's anything more than some days you got to sell what you had to buy to get what you wanted.

A man walks in and wants to sell a pristine 59 T bird and a beat up '76 puke green Chevy Nova as a packsge deal... you're going to take that deal in a heartbeat, price it based on the T-bird and hope to get at least melt for the Nova

Does this look like a silver proof coin to anyone?

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2016-Roy...AOSwCCtbT7ZG

At least the seller shows how proof coins should be handled!

Fun-Thread---Worst-Coins-On-Ebay,-Etsy,-Craigslist,-And-Other-Buying-Sites!

The silver proof coins have frosted relief and are struck to a very high standard - this is an ordinary cupro-nickel version (mintage: 6,900,000), somewhat scratched from circulation!
