I did and took the chance.
Better than expected and worth the gamble.
No a gem by any stretch but an AU55 I would say is quite possible.

This one is very laughable! This is a body bagged 2006-D Nickel that the ebay seller think that it's an error.

Here's what he said in the description.

Quote:
Jefferson Return to Monticello Nickel - Business Strike

2006-D

NGC ungraded in body bag - ONE OWNER

MINT ERROR - off metal / planchet

ACTUAL PHOTO.

I found this coin in an original bank-wrapped roll of otherwise normal-looking uncirculated 2006-D 5C.
Standard 30 day return policy.

I am streamlining my collection. I have a LOT of inventory to sell. Be on the watch. Inquiries accepted.

NGC Registry: Thane

What a dope! Lol! https://www.ebay.com/itm/2006-D-MIN...AOSwBCpbJCWX

Lol, yep! I can't believe it sold for 2.26 cents! People on ebay are not very smart. Chafemasterj, that poor Indian Head cent! It's completely ruined, and I wouldn't even pay 15.99 for it!

These "Rear Coins" must be one of the worst listings I've ever seen on ebay - but, hey, the guy claims to have a 1755 50p- now, that would be incredibly rare, over two centuries before the UK even contemplated decimal currency!

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Grt-BRIT...AOSwNFFa9dNg

By the way, my Brilliant Uncirculated 1971 1p went for 1p plus postage - at least I hope it taught a few of these guys the true value of some of their 'rear' coins!

This is the listing for a 3 cent that I won. for some reason he seemed to think that the whitman album would be the main selling point https://www.ebay.com/itm/Whitman-Cl...p=true&rt=nc

Heres what I received

The seller's description is just too good to ignore. I couldn't resist posting it. Better hurry to get this one:

1941 double died penny

Yep, the poor critter died. Then the seller dug it up and it died again.

It's quite the bargain at only $600 plus shipping.

Woooo-hoooo!
