Ok, so I use ebay, vcoins, FAC and ma-shops regularly - am I missing any good websites? High volume sites preferred.

I could never find any dealers on MA shops that were willing to ship to Canada :( I admit I didn't try excessively hard but with the Canadian dollar so low right now it isn't quite worth it.

Quote: I could never find any dealers on MA shops that were willing to ship to Canada Surprised at that! I consider Canada a very safe (if a little slow) place to post. Forgot to mention delcampe above, its worth a look but not as user friendly as ebay. If you do give it a try remember to click the 'premium' tab in the top left before searching, lots more coins there than under 'marketplace' or 'prestige'.

I didn't look too hard and may check again once I have some spending money.

Here is my list of websites with ancient coins for sale: http://augustusmath.hypermart.net/dealers.htmlMany are not high volume sites. If anyone has a stand-alone site to recommend I'll consider adding it. You could bookmark this page and use it to surf the web when you are desperate to buy a coin!

Thanks Warren, I have that desperation right now Delcampe could be worth adding - not many bargains on there tonight though, seem to remember it being better last month, usually has around 2500 ancients at any one time.

I thought you can find all FAC coins on vcoins as well? In that case you have a better comparison as well to other sellers

I work for a printing company. A few years ago we quoted on printing catalogs for Pegasi Numismatics. We didn't win the work but we still have a 2009 catalog sample lying around.I don't know much about ancients, and maybe you all know about them already, but if this could be another source for you, good deal. Otherwise caveat emptor.

Quote: Pegasi Numismatics Good call, was not aware of this site - glad I couldn't find anything I wanted though, they are a bit pricey for my tastes

Bobby, I was at the NY Show and EducationalCoin was there with ancient Greek, Indo Greek, Pontic, Kushan bronze and (priced accordingly) silver coins buy the bag full. They are friendly people who I have done business with on an individual coin purchase basis in the past. They have a vcoins and ebay shop. I would shoot them a line about getting some ancient coins in the plenty.
