What is a good price for a 1859 bronze narrow 9 cent with a Cud at 11:00 in a grade of G-6?
And also does anyone know the approximate population of 1859 bronze cents?

Thanks

There's a lot of overpriced coins out there. The first rule of collecting is "caveat emptor".
They are all bronze, brass is the ultra rare composition.

In G-6, I wouldn't want to pay over $5 for a bronze. Now if it's the brass one we're talking about...

Wow! Canadian coin and currency is offering one for $375!
I didn't think they would be that far off in price.

here is the coin in question: http://www.cdncoin.com/product-p/20120620466.htm

when it comes to 'errors' I supposed a good price is what the buyer thinks it's worth.

Is Canadian Coins and Currency a trustworthy company? The reason I wonder is that they list the coin as being made by the RCM which did not exist in 1859. Perhaps just a routine typo.

"Produced By: RCM"
