1809 Half Cent Variety Question - Coin Community Forum

Hflirn Pillar of the Community United States 586 Posts	Posted 01/23/2014 12:32 am I have this coin which has a small 8 inside the 0 in date. I of course thought it could be doubling of small 0 punch but it appears again past the 9. Also seems to be 9/6 variety and there is a number 2 to rt of 9 in date and the obverse is seen shadowing facing rt behind regular left facing Liberty. I'll study up some more. I do have some unique Large Cents I'd like to pass by you, or whoever wants to help, sometime today or tomorrow. I have all but two figured out (or so I think) so far.
