You asked for it...
My-Morgan-Collection

It has holes in the bottom of the drawers it does have a lock but I don't have the key and it's buried in the garage.

I have another thou, well two of them,

No holes in the bottom of the drawers. This one was for 3x5 cards, 4 drawers on each and I think I can remove the separator in the center. Plus, added bonus, I think I can fit them into the basement easier. (The tape measure was extended to 12 inches.)

That's gonna hold loads of coins! How deep is each drawer? Can't wait to see it finished with the coins! Gonna be a really neat house for the collection for sure.

Thanks, yeah it will be great once it's done... please start yelling at me next January if I have not gotten it done by then

The outside dimensions on the 2 smaller ones are 28.5 inches tall, 28 deep and 15 across. I wanted to get dimensions on the drawers but I forgot, and it was too cold to mess with it today. It is for 3x5 inch index cards so it should fit Velveta boxes and maybe even nickel bank boxes.

I have got to get the house re-arranged then I can bring them in, so if I'm actually done with it before August be shocked Then I have to decide to make it into a desk, one on each side, or a block, side-by-side or a tower, I'm thinking tower because I'm tall and bending over is not always easy when you want to pick up 20+ pounds, it is also sturdy enough to take some weight.

Sounds like a great plan. Remember, half the fun is taking your time on projects like this. I'll look forward to the pictures when you do get it done.. You should see the rig I built for my light table in my little photo studio. My wife says that sometimes my brain goes off in directions nobody could see coming... :)

The light table was only 25" high. I'm way too old to be bending over! Built a 12" tall stand that the light table sits into and now its a grand total of 37" off the ground, perfect for set up and photo shooting.. NO BENDING! Always a good thing... ;)

My brother worked at Quizno's a while back, and they were re-modeling so he ended up with the lighted signs from the windows... clear plastic with a bright light encased to show through the transparencies you swap out for different sales. They are not sturdy but I think I'll look into them for my camera setup. I was originally thinking LED Christmas lights, maybe both.

Always think outside the box, except for proof sets and litter boxes

This dorm fridge died on me a while back and before I got rid of it I realized I could keep my Krause's in it, I have the rack on the bottom to make sure it will never stick down from moisture, but I also have it aligned to keep the door from shutting fully, it does shut down but doesn't seal.

That badly sun bleached 1974 2nd edition will never see the light of day again and I think I can make a massive tower with it on top of the other 2 3x5 holders... I've got a few months to think about it, been trying to rearrange my room for a while now and I think I'm headed in the right direction. Thanks for all the inspiration. and if you do make a poster of those Morgan's let me have the first copy

Sorry you can't see it Cruisinfusion, hopefully srs77 will get the link fixed, that is what the problem seems to be.

It was a poster basically, with every year and mint mark, on a black background totally stunning, and worth the hype
