Man, it's been three years since we did an Indian Head cents Days of Thread!!

And we like to look at Flying Eagle cents too!

SO!! I give to you "The 51 Days of Indian Head cents II with a Flying Eagle cents Prelude"! This time we'll add the Flying Eagle cents to the forefront so we can see those guys too!

It's way PAST time for us all to see all of your Indian Head Cents! and your Flying Eagle Cents, too!

How does this thread work? I'm glad you asked!

Starting out, on the 29th of March, we'll post our 1856 (if you're lucky enough to have one)and 1857 Flying Eagle cents. On the 30th, we post our 1858 FE Cents! THEN, on the 31st of March, we all post pictures of all of our 1859 Indian Head Cents (according to the schedule listed below). Then, going all the way for 51 Days, we post successive years' coins until we post pictures of all of our 1909 IHCs on the last day of the schedule!

If you miss a day, by all means feel free to post any of your FECs or IHCs that you may has missed up to that point.

29 March: 1856 & 1857 Flying Eagle cents
30 March: 1858 Flying Eagle cents (and IHC, if you got one!)
31 March: Post all your 1859 Indian Head cents
1 April: 1860
2 April: 1861
3 April: 1862
4 April: 1863
5 April: 1864
6 April: 1865
7 April: 1866
8 April: 1867
9 April: 1868
10 April: 1869
11 April: 1870
12 April: 1871
13 April: 1872
14 April: 1873
15 April: 1874
16 April: 1875
17 April: 1876
18 April: 1877
19 April: 1878
20 April: 1879
21 April: 1880
22 April: 1881
23 April: 1882
24 April: 1883
25 April: 1884
26 April: 1885
27 April: 1886
28 April: 1887
29 April: 1888
30 April: 1889
1 May: 1890
2 May: 1891
3 May: 1892
4 May: 1893

Wow this is what I'm working on completing now. I'll probably contribute some lower grade coins but drool over the rest of CCF's. Can't wait to get this started. 1857 Flying Eagle is my favorite coin. I guess it will wait.

Now I'm glad I bought some of those penny rolls on ebay over the years
They're very low-grade but it will be fun to share and look and I cannot wait to see a higher grade ones that some people let out of the vault

Never heard of a 1858 IHC - but one is for sale on ebay - seems legit(!)
