Like some of you, I too missed the Walker's series. I'm glad to see them selling well, but I can't imagine paying that kind of premium to add to the collection. The good news is Provident does disclose the total quantities sold, and as of today; Walker- 47,885, Anne - 41,620, Buff - 48,428.

So while not the first in the series, the Anne might do OK.

So far, no issues with quality.

The new Murk Diem coming out July 1st is the zombified version of the Mercury dime. I think they could have done a better job designing it. It looks plain ugly to me but since I'm planning on completing the series I will have to pick some up.

I do like Murk Diem better than the Barber Zombuck.

Uhhhmm, are you new to this series? They're supposed to look ugly. All the designs are zombified. That's what the entire Zombucks series is all about.

I just meant ugly as in bad design. I just think they could have made the Mercury dime zombie look better. I really liked the walker and morgue ann designs as well as the newest barber.

I too think that the new Merc could have been done a lot better. They started the series off really well with the Walker and since then it has kind of gone downhill in my mind. Granted like most people I'm a collector and I've started the series so I have to see it through, but come on. I'm really wanting the Indian Head Gold $10 Eagle. That one could make for a really good design.

What other coins has everyone come up with that could be Zombiefied?

I've also found these. They aren't Zombucks, but along the same lines.

I like the Zombucks collection. I've got a Dansco Millimeter book with a page for each issue that has a bullion and proof version of the silver and copper rounds. In the middle opening I have a first year of issue of whatever coin that version of Zombuck is based on, e.g., Walker=1916 Walking Liberty half. Since the dansco pages have nine openings I put the proof coa's and some of the artwork from the copper proof boxes to fill the holes. I think it looks pretty cool. I need to find a biohazard decal to stick on the front of the book. I'll put some pictures up soon.

matttheriley I'd like to see how you have it laid out. I was thinking about doing something similiar with the Silver Rounds Dansco. Put the real coin in the first of the three slots (Would have to figure out an airtight or somthing to size the coins all of the same, then the copper and the silver round. Next line down the next Zombuck edition.

So, I just received my Murk Diem's (Silver and Copper - BU) in the mail yesterday. I also got the Barber Proofs as well for my book. They look pretty nice! I also ordered an Air-Tite album to start storing these in, I think the black book will work/look better for the Zombie theme. I'll post pictures when I get the album updated. Thanks!
