die chips are excellent markers for coins that have a variety or other error. About 6 months ago, I bought a 1960-D US Mint sealed bag of 5000 pennies. One of the repunched mint marks I have found has this super huge die chip on the back of the coin, and it is there for hundreds of coins. Thats a nice find, good eye !
