how do you go about trades with ebay members when value of the trades exceeds 3 grand, I don't want to end up being the only person sending items to find myself beat.?

So youre trading 3k worth of stuff with someone you dont know? If I understand that correctly I would say you dont.

For 3k protect yourself and just have each of you list it as a sale and the other buy it. At least that way if he doesn't send it youll get a refund and have his money for your stuff.

Honestly not without taking a huge risk of taking his word for it that hes not going to just keep your stuff. I mean if it was a heavy hitter coin store like a David Lawrence Id be comfortable with it, but if its just some random guy I wouldnt risk it if it was my stuff.

Not even ebay allows it. Trading keeps ebay from collecting their rightful commission, and if it goes south they'll turn their backs on you.

Stay away from a deal like that. Unless he or she lives in your area and you can meet face to face at a busy location and have all coins in hand to inspect. That is the only way I would even consider doing something like that, and I wouldn't do it through ebay.

You can use just Paypal so it will cost like 4% and you are covered (normal Paypal, no gift) and avoid ebay that cost extra 10%.
