Thanks commems! However, it's really the coin, not my photos that make for the eye popping Bison. @ Domain555 You can pick up a Bison here, albeit that the cost is now $5.00 over the issue price. http://www.cdncoin.com/20-2014-Biso...32051911.htmI'll add that I highly recommend this seller. They always promptly ship well wrapped coins they have in stock and their customer service is first rate.

It is cheaper to buy the Bison coin from Gatewest Coins: It is only $99.95 and you get a 5% VIP discount. Add on $8.00 and the total cost is $103.00 vs the $114 from CDNcoin ($105 + $9.00 Shipping). Save more if you have a PST charging province like BC. http://store.gatewestcoin.com/cgi/v...92P01p53X21zThey provide good service too, even though they sometimes use newspapers as wrapping.

My previous URL to Gatewest doesn't work. But MoneyPenney correct, buying from Gatewest will be better. (only the possible issue "limited" stock) Except this, the Domain555's location is seems to be in US, so the Gatewest's price will be even not $99, but $86.95 URL again: http://store.gatewestcoin.com/cgi/v...92c03d63e94p

thanks commems for the list.
Based on those titles, the 1st might actually be the least appealing (and it's a nice pretty coin).

Thanks, commems, this is nice info.
IMO, the second or the third will be the best-in-series

This is a very nice coin right here.... but while I am itching to get it, I think I will pass and wait for prices to drop and wait for an auction on ebay.

The second 2014 Bison coin is now posted on the RCM website showing "PreOrder". I am a Masters Club member and was told I could not order the coin but could be placed on a waiting list for the coin with NO guarantee that I would receive the coin. I tried to get the first coin via a waiting list with no result - had to order from Gatewest. As far as the 2014 Bison series is concerned it appears that free shipping and ordering from the RCM so that you get Masters Club credit are out of the question. Pay heed!

It wasn't offered in the advance notice e-mail from my rep on Tuesday, and it was 'awaiting stock' when I checked the website late yesterday. I don't think it was ever available for sale though I don't know that for sure.
It's a commissioned coin with most of the mintage being controlled by a dealer so beware because they can manipulate the market.
BTW, what is up with the design? I wasn't a big fan of the first one but the second one is just odd. The animal on the left especially does not look 'right' to me. Hopefully, the actual coin is much better than the mint's images.

I was advised by my rep that I will be getting the 2nd coin - eventually - as I had 'subscribed' to the series.

Their heads "shifted" down and sticked somewhere below the neck. The left one too thin. Lack of the proper 3-rd dimension. Looks like that the designer was busy with other work, and he asked for help his novice student.
