Let's see, where was I? Oh, yeah, 1878. None of the following images have ever been seen in public before. 1878 8TF VAM-16:   1878 7/8TF VAM-31:   1878 VAM-163:   1878-CC VAM-27:   A couple miscellaneous 1878-S's - you attribute them.      I'll close the 1878 portion of my imagery with three of my very earliest efforts at coin photography, back in early 2006. I didn't even know enough about shooting coins to make the camera parallel, much less own a dSLR to shoot them. They were shot with a 4MP Minolta Z2. But they came out so nicely, to my senses, that they inspired me to see what could do to improve my photography skills. They, along with an 1879 you'll see tomorrow, are responsible for me getting serious about coin photography. In each case, I think they perfectly captured the "flavor" of the coin pictured, and I like them still today.
