Well, I found these up. Seller has no idea whether they are real because he does not sell coins but otherwise has 100% feedback. All logic says they're fake but maybe, just maybe, I stand to make a fortune.

whats with the smooth edges vs reeded? Also have a funky look and mushy details. I say fake.
What do the rest of you all think?

I would need to know the accurate weight before being able to comment further.
Most of us already know that all dates of U.S. gold have been faked, sometimes in good quality gold.

Well, seller has not provided this info and his/her contact Seller option is turned off. Overall very sketchy but starting bid is pretty low and shipping is free worldwide.

Well, the double eagle is definitely fake because it has a reeded edge (the real one has a lettered edge). Aside from that, it looks like a deadest fake anyway. I have a feeling that it isn't even gold to be honest.

It's difficult to tell with the others because of the images - the half and quarter eagle don't look too bad, but I get the feeling that the eagle is a fake (something about the rims).

I would probably stay away unless he is going to sell them all to you for some ridiculously low price.

Theres likely a reason why the pictures are the way they are. Its just good enough to make you think it could be real but they arent good enough to without a doubt say fake for all of them.

Wheres its shipping from?

The $20 St. Gaudens is definitely fake. Could tell by the reverse alone.. The details on the coin just look plain weird. I personally wouldn't try to win any of these.

Items are shipping from Germany. My only real hope was for the Coronet Head which seems to looks genuine. The double eagle and eagle looks definitely fake with the Indian head not be clear enough to tell. Oh well..

If it looks too good to be true, then it most likely is to good to be true.

The eagle and double eagle are obvious fakes (double eagle should have a lettered edge and the eagle should have stars on the edge.) so the other two are most likely fakes as well.

I also seriously doubt they are gold.

And more likely, just more likely, you stand to lose your shirt.

Do NOT buy raw gold unless you are expert at spotting counterfeits. In fact, this applies to ALL coin series but especially high-dollar items.

Best Regards,

George
