A LCS has the three CU one dollar notes.
1988A
K45577353C
K45577354C
K45577355C

They are Fort Worth (FW) notes. I think they might be notes
From the first run of the FW facility. I have looked at ebay and
Seen some of these notes sell for a good amount.

Does anyone have any experience with these notes, as far as being
sought after by collectors and possible value. And is there a way to check and see if they really are first run notes.

If they are collectible I may pick them up.

This site shows the break downs of the print runs. If you scroll down it shows the first Fort Worth printing occurred in March of 1991.

K is for the Dallas Federal Reserve.

Thanks for that link

If I am reading it right, these notes are in the first regular run.
After the Star notes.

They look like one of the 1st f/w runs, not sure what type of premium they would bring.

I've been spending the last few days working on a thread to post here tomorrow on collecting Triple Complex Blocks.

In the Series 1988A $1.00 FRN's, I count only 4 Triple Complex Blocks (something I was only recently aware of), they are the F-N, F-U, G-P and G-Q Blocks, with each of these Blocks having production Runs from both the D.C. Sheet-fed & Web-fed press's and the new Fort Worth Sheet-fed notes.

If one were to collect Double Complex Blocks, I think the difficult one would be the L-C Block as the first 14 Runs are from D.C. and the 15th (last) Run was from F/Worth..

More info tomorrow (oops, make that later today).
