I can see it is a Canadian Cent. That is about all though.

Date on the reverse. Medal alignment is normal for Canadian coins.

looks like a strong strike. I don't see enough to call it a broad strike Canadian. Its probably best to post this in the Canadian area where the resident experts hover.

Hi Jeremy730...your Canadian penny has a Dryer Coin look to it, but the pics make it a little hard to make a good judgement on that. IMO

The 1961 cent is a encasement cent. Coin was removed and now shows the damage made on it will being fitted into the "GOOD LUCK" holder. Damaged. Worth melt.
