Here`s a reverse variety of the 1871 OBV1  Note the 1 is more to the left than in the more common variety. Of more than twenty only two have had this reverse. 15 degree die rotation is the default for the 1871 OBV1`s.

Nice start to the .25 cent coins, sadly my collection only includes 4 Vicky's at the moment and nowhere near the quality of some of the coins posted here. I will try to remember to post them on the appropriate days.

Nice groups of 1871's everybody! PCGS MS64 1872-H 7/7   1872-H Die Break V in Good   1872-H in Good with an interesting die break that make the C in Canada look like it is hanging.

1872H Here`s details of a couple of different BarV`s The first,with the die crack,has no doubled N,and seems to be scarcer than the doubled N type. The second is the doubled N type, note the very faint crossbar of the A, two varieties for the price of one.
