So I signed at 12:00:30 and was welcomed to the waiting room with a projected wait time of 30 mins. I figured that was reasonable, but then my wait time GREW to 48 mins. It's now 12:39 and my wait time is 14 minutes...so maybe just an hour's wait.

This, by the way, is pretty easy compared to the time I waited on hold for 5 hours trying to buy the initial offering of 5 oz America the Beautiful coins. (I'm now down to 8 minutes).

Pain in the rear. I ordered one of each option as well. I don't think the price is going to skyrocket, and I don't think any will sellout, but I don't think it's going to be a money loser with the current price of metals. Won't really know until they take them off sale (end of the year I'm guessing, or when they sell out...if they do sell out).

My experience was not good. I got queued up right off the bat at 11:45 for the waiting room. At noon - I instantly went to 30 plus minutes of wait - which grew to 50 and then I got in at 12:53. I had several items in my cart and was trying to order an uncirculated dollar and the site froze - then locked my computer up and I sat for 10 minutes not being able to do anything. I rebooted and had to wait in the waiting room again - finally got in and my carted items were still there - checked out and got a 6/15/14 ship date for my Gold proof... and 4/10 for the silvers.

My projected wait of 2 hours only took 1 hour 20 minutes, so I guess I can't complain (too much). I noticed the expected shipping dates on the order do not square with the 23 Mar "available" for shipping date: 2014 Baseball HOF PROOF SILVER DOLLAR backordered. Expected to ship on 04/10/2014. 2014 Baseball HOF PROOF $5 GOLD backordered. Expected to ship on 06/15/2014. Are shipping dates (on the gold proof) normally pushed back this much? Or is this a clerical error & the coins will likely be shipped this or early next month? |

I signed in at 12:08.. first it said 1 hour and 30 minutes and grew to closer to 2 hours. Had a work lunch meeting and forgot about it, I came back in time for the 5 minute count down. I got 4/10 for the silvers. The site was shaky so I didn't try to order 1 of each. I just ordered 1 of each of the silvers. In hindsight would shipping been the same price if I had gotten 1 of everything?
This was my first order on the date of release. There is still an 1.5 hour wait if you start now, wouldn't that be a good sign that it will sell out? I almost ordered extras thinking that there would be higher demand if it sold out quickly. A solid 4 hours of "heavy traffic" I'd think would wipe out the stock quickly.

Able to get on the mint's site now without any delay/waiting room. Initial crush over? (Phone lines are still going to busy after initial computer greeting.)

I was in the wait room from 9:54 to done by 10:15. I actually thought this was a lot better then a few of the other times I ordered on the day of. Gotta say I am super excited for this commemorative.

I had to wait in the waiting room over an hour. The site itself was very glitchy after that. Everything at this point except the uncirculated gold is back ordered into June and July unfortunately. But I'm also very excited about these
