Ordered my coins on 3/27 at 1:08 p.m. Last week my gold coins (1 unc and 1 proof) were scheduled for delivery on 6/30. A couple of days ago they were showing as shipped and tracking has them as to be delivered tomorrow (6/4). Of course they won't come in the morning. It'll be like 8 at night. Or during the one 15 minute span during the day that I run out to get some milk et al.

Mine came today. Two of the three look good, but there is a scratch on the third and I cannot decide if it is on the case or the coin. I can't get a good photo of it either, but it jumps out as a bright scratch when I tip it just right. Nothing close enough to it to judge if it moves as I tip it more (indicating that it is on the plastic). Under the microscope, I see this:

I'm sending them all for slabbing. I'm afraid to pop the capsule myself - let the pros do it. If it's bad, so be it: maybe it will be the only "Details" BHOF gold :)

My credit card got pinged for my Unc Gold yesterday so hopefully it will be heading my way in the next couple of days.

I wonder how the next round of shipments will effect the prices of the raw gold coins currently for sale on ebay which seem to be selling in the $750 range.

Just an update on my troubles with proof silvers.

Order March 27th
Two attempted deliveries April 26th and April 28th at US address (no idea why no delivery was made - signature not required)
April 29th marked both delivered AND undeliverable and then "Return to Sender".
Post Office Fail.

Coins returned to Mint on May 8th
USMint rep said they would be received and shipped right back out "ASAP" to my Canadian address.
Credit Card refund on May28th and new order line with expected delivery date June 3rd insert on order page. Lost $4.50 on currency exchange. lol

Currently status: backordered with expected delivery June 27th (lately the day increments one day every day)

Clearly, if I get anything, they will not be the same coins originally shipped (early strikes). Seriously considering cutting my losses and cancelling the order. Problem is I really like the coins.

CC-Ottawa, maybe you should cancel your order and wait for the Canadian hockey puck shaped coins. Oh wait. Never mind.

1) I do not see what you are describing.I am sure it is there as described but I just don't see it

2) Return the coin and you will not get a replacement just a credit

3) Why would you take a credit when the raw coin (last sale) is selling for around $300 more than you paid for it?

At 6 o'clock in the second picture you can see the spot. I opened the holder and it is the coin and not the plastic. The coin appears to have been struck through debris in that area or the planchet had a flaw or lamination or flake off or whatever as the area of the mark is recessed but still retains the original frosting on the surface so it isn't a bag mark or PMD.

Pls clarify, if you return a HOF coin you only get credit, not another coin? Does this hold true with any sold out coin?
