I have four Silvers and four clads out at PCGS on the quarterly special (and four gold sitting at the mint).
Honestly, I'm not expecting 70's. I didn't even look at the silvers as I was in such a rush to get them out. The clads had come earlier and I had plenty of time to look at them and was not impressed, but then again those were the only four I've seen, so maybe I'll be surprised.
I'm not planning to flip unless the prices get insane. These are destined for a long, long sleep in my safe deposit box and it may well be that my children will be the ones who will see them next after I'm gone. Only if they got so high that I could trade up to some expensive coins I have always coveted would I sell now.

Loo534ks like some of the HOF players "Real" signed labels (not authorized facsimile) are starting to show up on ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2014-W-HOF-...em58af848eb4It would be cool to have a real Hall of Fame autograph within the slab, but there has got to be another way of obtaining the label to be placed in the PCGS slab without the "mark-up". |

Anyone know weather or not you can send in these coins for grading and be able to choose a HOF autograph? It'd be pretty neat to have choice over the signature (obviously a living member of the Hall.)

I'm beginning to believe my shipment date of 6-30 is correct since it hasn't changed in several weeks. I ordered mine on 3-27 at 1:05 p.m. Is there anyone who ordered outside of that time who has already gotten their gold coins? I'm curious to know if orders are truly filled in order received, or if it's random. Not complaining because I won't be selling these and after time, it won't matter when I received them. Lots of unfortunates who got shut out entirely.

My Proof silver coins in my 3/27/14 2:19PM order were shipped 4/20.
My Uncirculated silver coins in my 3/27/14 6:35PM order are showing a 6/19 shipping date.
My Uncirculated silver coins in my 3/28/14 1:41AM order are showing a 6/19 shipping date.
My Proof silver coins in my 3/29/14 11:12PM order are showing a 6/26 shipping date.
howell1018, if you have silver proofs in your 3/27/14 1:05 PM order then this calls into question how the Mint ships them out as mine appear to have been ordered after yours, but I have already received them. (9 silver proofs & 1 clad proof)

Southern92.....I've received the base metal and silver coins quite some time ago. The only ones I'm waiting for are the two versions of the gold.

Does anyone know why some PCGS First Strike coins have the label with the baseballs and others are just a plain label?

It's hard to get a good shot of these coins in the plastic case due to the curve of the coin. I tried to do my best with my scanner and Photoshop to "join" two scans of the obverse and two of the reverse of one of my Baseball Hall of Fame proof dollars. Each scan had horrible glare off of the plastic coin holder, so I had to do two scans of each side with the coin turned at a 180 angle, then use half of each scan that didn't have the glare. It came out okay, but I'm still having some problems with the scanner causing distortion. Once I get the bugs worked out so that the coin is not distorted, I'll post a "shot" again. At another forum someone said their Credit Card was hit on the 28th and when they called, the rep said it should ship the first week of June.
Another person said their order # 42926xxx shipped yesterday (Monday) morning.
My order 42927xxx hit my credit card on the 28th but still shows "In stock and reserved" this morning.

Update: checked again and my order 42927xxx, which hit my credit card on the 28th, was shipped today, June 3rd.

Mine is #42933xxx and it's still in process. Called the mint and was told it would ship by this Saturday.
