I just received 7 proof silvers back from PCGS....6 69's .... one 70.... Has anyone else had theirs graded by PCGS yet? I guess I expected at least a couple 70's....just wondering if this curved design is causing some problems with the finish resulting in a lower ratio of 70/69 or if I just got a bad bunch. On a good note I sent one gold proof in and it came back a 70...made up for the silvers.

My two golds are stuck on 6/21 and won't move. I'll be walking my daughter down the aisle that day. I ordered my coins on the initial day of ordering an hour and 5 minutes after the start of ordering and was, of course, on hold for most of those hour and five minutes.

Went by my LCS today to pick up some flips and I saw the baseball commems. They had about 20 of the silver dollars and about 40 of the clad halfs. Although they look pretty impressive in person, I can't see myself spending 140 for the dollar or 40 for the half.

Just to see what would happen I ordered 1 UNC silver and 1 proof silver dollar on 4/14 when the mint was still taking backorders.
My initial date was early July. Then it moved to mid June, then mid May. I just checked and it now says mid....September. I am not expecting to ever get either one or I would have ordered them much earlier.

The last numbers I saw for PCGS silver PF's were 1361 70's and 1102 69's.... |

My order from 3/27 7PM after I guess the "waiting room" ended keep flip flopping on delivery dates and now even the free mint bag which was "in stock and reserved" since day one is now "1 unit backordered. Expected to ship on 05/21/2014."
Go figure.

My 2 golds that were shipping on 6/21, are now shipping on 6/30, so my backorders have backed up I guess. When are those gold Kennedy halves due to go on sale? I can't wait for this to start all over again. |

Just checked my emails and there's a notification from the mint that my order was shipped on May 5th. The shipment was for my 2014 proof set though. Oh well.

I ordered my Proof Silver dollar on April 8th and my ship date went from 5/21 to 8/20. That seems like a huge jump all of a sudden.

Update for those following my sad sack story: The coins made it back from their Florida vacation to a sorting station in Indianapolis. They left the sorting station May 8th on an 8 miles trek back to the US Mint's warehouse but so far, they haven't made it there. Lost in the USPS system...again.  Edited by CC-Ottawa
