@ When I emptied my jug of cents I put it on its side and used a stick to break it loose out of the jar then I put them in small bucket with a lid and even coffee cans and taped the lids shut incase I dropped one. Doing that made them a lot easier to handle. Let us know the amount but I already know what you should have. Best of Luck to you and have fun cause I did.

I definitely misjudged the size of the jug...based on a poor estimation of the size of your dog. This jug likely weighs in the neighbourhood of 200lbs if not slightly heavier.

That is a dog? I thought it was a real ugly cat...

Anyway I am going to guess it to be 12,345 cents or $123.45

@gidjit ...Believe me when I tell you that you will have better than $800 dollars U.S. in that jar if they all are U.S. cents; because I remember being disappointed cause I thought I would have at least a $1000 or more. @248.37 that is only 24,837 cents enough to fill about a little over a quarter of the 5 gal. water bottle. When you cash them in please let us know.

i was just kidding about the prize, I dont believe there was ever supposed to be one. I just wonder how much it weighs and probably would cost a lot to ship.

Haven't picked it up lately but its weight is about 4-5 lbs. just for the bottle; if I remember correctly. They would come in a wooden open slat crate with a wooden bottom to protect the glass.
