You'll have to excuse the pictures (They're taken through a 15yr old digi cam using a magnifying glass)

I have 5 of the 100th Anniversary of the birth of Christopher Ironside 50p pieces.
I only noticed yesterday by pure fluke, that 4 out of those 5 have what I assume is mechanically doubled flaw on the obverse.

Ironside-Birth-Celebration-50p---Is-Yours-Mech'-Doubled-?
This is the most extreme example.

Even though I havent got one of these 50p`s yet , I`m glad you brought this issue up and I will look out for the flaws once I get them....

it is amazing the high percentage of coins with the flaw from your sample. it will be fascinating to see and hear from others if many have this flaw

Hey I've checked my ones and no doubling at all. Maybe its a batch you got that are doubled?
